A full set of air cushion product packaging materials, including the three core components of powder box, sponge and puff. After introducing the air cushion powder puff and air cushion sponge, the following will mainly introduce the air cushion powder box.

Most traditional basic fluids are bottles or hoses, and the sealing performance is beyond doubt. The packaging material of the air cushion powder box is solid dry and wet powder, with poor sealing performance. The powder box used in the air cushion base liquid is equivalent to the liquid-solid liquid of the traditional solid powder packaging material. The outer cylinder needs to meet the various functional requirements of the powder cylinder, and the inner cylinder needs to have a sealing performance equivalent to that of the bottle or tube packaging material. The air tightness and weightlessness of the inner toner cartridge are required to be high, which is also the key for each toner cartridge manufacturer to reflect its own technical capabilities. The air-cushion powder box adopts the form of an inner and outer two-layer powder box. On the one hand, it relies on the inner powder box to meet the sealing requirements; on the other hand, due to the small capacity of air cushion products, most of which are only 10g~15g, consumers use it faster. The inner toner cartridge can be sold separately as a substitute, and it is more affordable for consumers to purchase and replace. With the vigorous development of air cushion products, some other structural forms of packaging, such as vacuum pressed compacts (such as Givenchy high-definition air cushion foundation cream) and gauze filters, have also been used as air cushion cream containers. This packaging material throws away the sponge that penetrates into the liquid foundation, and is more suitable for viscous materials with higher concealment. Strictly speaking, these packaging products can no longer be called air cushions.

Next, we will focus on some design points and design considerations in the design and production of air cushion powder boxes. There are two design points: the sealing of the inner powder box and the "standardization" of the powder box.

(1) The tightness of the inner powder box
The inner powder box is generally composed of three plastic parts: the box body, the upper cover and the fixing ring. Air cushion packaging materials should meet the requirements of vacuum tightness and wet weight. At present, there are three common forms of sealing design for packaging materials:
①The upper cover sealing ring and the fixed ring cooperate with each other to achieve the sealing effect. This design requires high manufacturing precision of plastic parts, and the sealing performance is not very stable.

② The two-color injection-molded soft rubber sealing ring is at the sealing part. This is of course the best form. We recommend that you check the patent when designing to avoid infringement.

③ Add a soft rubber seal ring to the seal parts. This is a compromise, and no two-color injection molding machine manufacturer will adopt this design form.

(2) A complete set of air cushion packaging materials includes inner and outer powder boxes, sponges, puffs, sealing machines, etc. The inner and outer powder boxes are generally produced by the same supplier, and the matching is not too large. However, the size of sponges and puffs on the powder box should be "standardized". For example, the mainstream 15g air cushion product currently on the market has an inner tank volume of about 20 ml, and the corresponding sponge size is 47±1 mm in diameter and 11.0±0.5 mm in thickness; the mainstream puff size is 53.0±1 mm in diameter and 7.0± in thickness. 0.5 mm. These data are for reference only, especially for newcomers who want to share the feast of cushion packaging materials with you, try not to customize the size of the powder box at will, so they may not find the right size sponge and puff to match.
